Has it ever dawned on you that nothing has ever dawned on God? He knew before the world began that His people would face hardship, so He gave us His Word. The Book of Ephesians is a survival manual—it equips believers to thrive in a world that hates the message of Jesus Christ. Paul the Apostle writes to encourage believers to live well—we’ve been lifted from the graveyard of sin and called to shout the gospel into the darkened world. Encounter Ephesians, and get swept up into the story of Jesus.
Date: through June 24th, 2018.
Location: Room 304 (balcony level)

Even if you don’t think of yourself as a leader, your life influences those around you. And most people hope that their influence on others is positive. In his pastoral letter to Titus, a young, Gentile convert he had personally led to Christ, the apostle Paul unlocks the secrets to godly influence. Writing to this novice pastor, Paul offers insights on Christian leadership that you can use whether you influence one person or one hundred thousand.
Dates: June 10th and 17th, 2018.
Location: Room 102 (ground floor of the Education Bldg.)

1st and 2nd Peter

In these two books, the apostle Peter encourages suffering and persecuted Christians to remain loyal to Christ. He calls us to live holy lives, looking to Christ as our example. Jesus has shown the pattern of suffering first, then glory later. Therefore, we can endure trials now because our eyes are fixed on our future hope. Peter explains how believers should live during difficult times and outlines the right attitude to have about persecution.
Date: through June 24th, 2018.
Location: Room 204 (the church parlor – across from the Dayton Avenue entrance.)

Village Identity
