Our Missions Outreach

The Missions outreach of the First Church family extends from Collingswood to localities as close as Camden and Philadelphia to others as far as Irian Jaya and Zimbabwe, supporting over 114 missionaries in 37 organizations worldwide. Our mission program includes many full-time missionaries and organizations, and of equally significant importance are the hundreds of First Church members and friends who have given vital support through prayers, correspondence, hospitality, finances and administration.

With so many missionaries, the challenge to us as a church family is knowing and recognizing the missionaries, where they serve, and what they do. We trust that this will continue and encourage deeper personal involvement in the overall work of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world.

Jesus saith unto them, My food is to do the will of Him that sent me, and to
finish His work. Say not ye, there are yet four months, and then cometh
harvest? Behold, I say unto you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for
they are white already to harvest. And he that repeateth receiveth wages, and
gatereth fruit unto life eternal, that both he that soweth and he that reapeth
may rejoice together. And here is that saying true, One soweth, and another
reapeth. I sent you to reap that on which ye bestowed no labor; other men
labored, and ye are entered into their labors.
JOHN. 4:34-38
